The good news for developers is that the time has come as Swift is now officially open source. According to Federighi earlier this year, “We think Swift is the next big programming language, the one that we’ll all be doing application and system programming on for 20 years to come. We think Swift should be everywhere and used by everyone.”译文 对开发者来说，好消息是swift已经开源了。 根据Federighi早前说的：我们认为swift是一个大的编程语言，一个未来20年我们将依靠它用来开发应用程序的语言。我们认为swift将要被大家用在很多地方和领域。

The Swift programming language has been released under the Apache 2.0 license which means that developers will be able to use the language as they like. They will even be able to build commercial products with it and at the moment, it supports iOS, OS X, and Linux. Swift has also been built to play nicely with Objective-C, so developers should be able to blend existing code with it.
As for how this affects consumers, basically with the programming language being open source, it makes it more accessible to developers. Developers will also be able to come up with various tools and apps which in turn will give you guys more options to choose from. What exactly will be the result of this remains to be seen, but for those interested you can head on over to Swift.org for the details
Swift的编程语言将在Apache 2.0的基础上发放，至此软件开发者将可以对这款新编程语言根据自己的需要进行修改。开发者如今还将可以建立同时支持iOS，OS X和Linux商用产品。Swift还与Objective-C进行兼容，因此，开发者们将可以将现有代码与该语言融合。由于为开发者的产品开发提供了便利，用户也将通过开发者的工具和应用获得更多的选择。Apple 表示开发 Swift 的初衷是希望它可以成为其他编程语言的替代方案

感觉以后学习的重点还是放在swift上好点，开源以后会有更多人参于进来，优化会更好
